The first cohort in Artisanal Mariculture Sciences and Village Farming successfully launched in September 2024. As the seaweed farming training wraps up this April, we are excited to announce the next session on coral farming, running from May to June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold a Master’s degree or be an engineer in a field related to Natural Sciences or Social Sciences.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a higher education diploma may apply if they have at least three years of relevant professional or personal experience in artisanal mariculture.

📚 Study Requirements

  • Theoretical and practical courses are conducted entirely in English- a high level of English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Selected students will receive a scholarship allowance during their stay in Toliara. They must cover their own travel expenses to the training center in Toliara, whether coming from Madagascar or abroad.
  • However: possibility to cover a return ticket (his country to Toliara) for best candidate.

 🎓 Earn an International Certificate

This program leads to an internationally recognized certificate, jointly issued by:

  • The University of Mons
  • The IH.SM of the University of Toliara
  • The University of Liège
